I had a little spare time to play as my client was, unfortunately, unwell and had to reschedule their photoshoot.
So, I decided to go out into the garden and use my SB900 flashgun for a change! I am not really keen on flash photography, unless absolutely necessary as I absolutely adore natural light. But thought I would just get a little creative with flash. And my model was a little worker bee (well I think it is, if anyone knows different please let me know!). Anyway this little chappie was working away on the echinacea plant I have in my garden so I thought I would try and get him in the frame with a little sparkle on his wings.
Off to the Isle of Wight for a photoshoot now, no flash, just the natural available light!

Authentic, honest and real photography.
My philosophy is keep things real. Photographs of your life the way you live it.
My baby and children photography is a true passion, and you won't find many poses, just natural images of squidgy fingers and toes and cute smiles and expressions.
Working with my husband we make up the photography team of Essential Images and shoot weddings, portraits and commercial commissions. We both have genuine fondness for storytelling images.
Living in the beautiful New Forest National Park we are lucky enough to have fabulous surroundings and many photo opportunities.
However, travelling around the countryside and abroad opens our eyes to people's everyday lives and cultures.
Thank you for visiting us today, we really hope you will come back and visit soon or follow us for updates.
