Remember ..... It's Ok to Cry Sometimes

Firstly I'd just like to thank all of you who have emailed or got in touch after my When Life Throws You a Curveball blog.

When I wrote it, I had no idea how much it would help so many of you.  To be honest it began as a bit of a self preservation thing!  Writing it all down seemed to help somehow and because, as I said in my blog 'it sometimes helps to know you're not alone'.

A HUGE THANK YOU

You made me feel as if I had a whole lot of friends I never knew I had and it has helped me massively.  So glad I helped you and thank you so much for returning the favour.

There Will be Reminders

Father's Day is looming and plastered everywhere you look.

Everywhere and every day there will be reminders.  How do you handle those reminders? 🤔

I am trying to learn to remember with happy memories and not be sad about what I didn't do and what I didn't say.

REMEMBER THOUGH .... it's still ok to cry sometimes ðŸ˜¢

Yesterday, I was sat in the garden directly beside a rose I bought for Dad for Father's Day just last year and it is absolutely full of buds.

Dad was so thrilled with it and wanted it put in the front garden so all could see.  My sister and I planted it in a large pot under Dad's watchful eye, who promptly said 'that's not deep enough' so we had to plant it again! 😃

I cried and cried.  My husband asked 'what on earth are you crying about'?  A hug or two later and I ceased sobbing ..... but it will happen again I'm sure ..... better out than in I say.

It's a fact

......we can't turn the clock back.  Life is for the living and those you have around you now.  So cry a little, laugh a little and cherish those memories.

Cherish your yesterdays, dream your tomorrows and live your todays.

I have no idea who said that, but,  all my friends out there,  let's make sure we do it...... and take time to smell the roses.
Many thanks once again for joining me here and taking the time to read my blog.
