New Forest and Hampshire Photographers

After editing photographs from last week's wedding and designing three photobooks for a previous client I managed to get out into the garden yesterday, but still with camera in hand, of course! So with a cuppa in one hand and camera in other (well actually I had to put the cuppa down, as anyone who owns a Nikon D700 will know that it is almost impossible to hold it in one hand!) I took time out for a few minutes!
Thank goodness the garden is looking a bit more colourful at last!  I just love these alliums and every year they seem to multiply, but for some reason the flower heads get smaller.  Perhaps I need to feed them!  I love taking floral photography, we have been so busy this year that there hasn't been much time for it so taking time yesterday was very therapeutic and helped me recharge the batteries!
Anyway this is one of the pics I took of my pretty alliums in the garden.

Wide aperture photography is a favourite of mine, with blurry backgrounds! You will notice that in my portraiture and wedding photography I use wide aperture a lot, just love to focus on people, their eyes and their expressions!
My 105mm 2.8 macro lens gives me even more opportunity to do the kind of photography I love!
