'What have you done today to make you feel proud' I love that song sung by Heather Small and whenever I hear it I ask myself that very question!
Today I heard it and took action!
We love to support charities and in 2011 we raised funds for The Joe Glover Trust, Naomi House and The Army Benevolent Fund!
In 2012 we attended the Royal Lymington Yacht Club to take photographs of HRH The Princess Royal free of charge for Lymington Sailability and sold prints from that shoot to raise funds for the Charity!
Now in 2013 we are sponsoring Gary who is running his first marathon in aid of Children with Cancer! We have been following him on his mammoth journey of getting fit enough for his challenge in April!
I am sure you will agree a first marathon is an achievement in itself but the London Marathon is certainly something to be very proud of and he has set himself a target of £2000. to raise for Children with Cancer.
So what have I done today to make me feel proud? I have made a promise that in the month of April for every baby/children shoot purchase and baby/children print order I will make a donation to the Children with Cancer Charity.
And to start it off I received a print order from a new mum for pictures of her newborn twin boys from a shoot several weeks ago! So my first donation was made today (not April, I know, but by the time the mum gets her prints it will be!)
As long as you book your shoot in the month of April we will make a donation to the Charity.
Of course, you don't have to book a shoot or order prints you can
So 'what have you done today to make you feel proud?'
